Zakee’s New York Experience Portfolio
Cover Letter:
Hi, I am Zakee Livingston. I am a 10th grader and this is my second year at Landmark High School. Before I came to this school I knew about New York but was not fascinated with going places. I never took a subway,I always took buses because the schools I went to always in my zone area, but when I came to Landmark, I had to take the subway. I wasn’t nervous or scared,but I was always alert on the trains because I was not used to trains. After my first couple of trips I was fine with train because as we went on different trips we had different routes so I got use to traveling. When I went to South Street Sea port it was my first time being there.I had always heard about the Seaport and the history of how the Dutch used that passage way to get here in the winter because it was a safe way and the harbor didn’t not freeze up. That was my favorite trip. I liked the street performer, he was an acrobatic dancer, he was real flexible. He was dancing then he fit himself into a cube shaped box. All the trips I went on this year I would go back to some of them not all trips I went to was fun but the majority were fun. I would go back with my friends or younger siblings so I can educated them with my expertise.
